Considered the first concept musical, Company opened on Broadway in 1970 and won several Tony Awards, a NY Drama Critics Award and a Drama Desk Award. A new Broadway revival of Company is planned for fall of 2006, after an initial production at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park last spring.
Join us for our production of Company, a series of short vignettes tied together with a surprise 35th birthday party for a confirmed bachelor. The energetic score features many of Sondheim’s well-known songs and an ensemble of memorable characters who double as the show’s chorus.

Cabin Fever, a Texas Tragicomedy

Cabin Fever centers around the Beckle family cabin one disastrous Memorial Day weekend. Aubrey, his four daughters and great aunt Tammy gather for the first time since Mrs. Beckle’s death. Nothing goes right: Aunt Tammy is trapped in the bathroom, and the four daughters just can’t seem to get along. The Beckles must pull together or the family will self destruct.

An Evening of Improv

In collaboration with Miami University Hamilton theatre, An Evening of Improv brings together a diverse group of community members, college students and OxACTers. Bekka Eaton, assistant professor of theatre at Miami University Hamilton, is a professional actor who began her career as a resident company member in Chicago’s famed The Second City. She is currently co-writing a book about the art and process of Improv.
